AB Within the extensive intellectual heritage that Ratzinger / Benedict XVI has bequeathed to us, his contribution to Fundamental Theology is noteworthy. His love and his vast knowledge of both philosophy and theology allow the reader to discover valuable tools to face current problems. In this case, it provides very useful resources to, firstly, analyze the crisis that the faith-philosophy relationship is experiencing - the centrality of the hyphen that unites it from its origin - and, secondly, it shows possible paths to recover this relationship so essential for theological reflection and also for the life of the Church.
