RT Article T1 Paulus - alte und neue Perspektiven: zum Paulusjahr JF Zeitschrift für katholische Theologie VO 130 IS 2 SP 168 OP 194 A1 Baumert, Norbert 1932-2019 LA German PB Echter YR 2008 UL https://www.ixtheo.de/Record/597099928 AB Apropos the 'Pauline Year' the author presents an overview of the personality and thought of the apostle. Drawing on his own long time research in Pauline theology he presents new perspectives. Special points are: Christology and Pneumatology; the Jewish identity of the apostle and his doctrine on the role of Israel in God's saving plans – up to our days; a saved (enlightened) view on marriage and celibacy as well as on the position of women; changed presuppositions for the doctrine of justification; the 'present' resurrection of each believer and the universal resurrection „at the sound of the last trumpet”. Briefly, Paul's person comes out more understandable and sympathetic „as a human being and a theologian, as a pastor and teacher”. K1 Paulus K1 Paulusbriefe K1 Paul K1 Letters of Paul
