AB God as the central topic of theology has recently gained new attention in German theology. The article discusses on hand of three authors, namely Kreiner, Müller, and Werbick, the new approaches: from the angle of analytical philosophy of religion, from the angle of subjective-panentheistic philosophy, and from the angle of hermeneutics. These approaches reveal the epistemic schism that was and is present in German theology since some time.
