It contains 4 texts, two of which (0The Letter of Peter to Philip0 and 0The [first Apocalypse] of James0) were already known from the finds at Nag Hammadi. The other two present hitherto unknown Gnostic writings (0The Gospel of Judas0 and a text which researchers have named 0Allogenes0). This publication presents the Coptic texts with a German translation on the facing pages, together with detailed linguistic indexes and observations on the content. Main description: Zu den besonders wichtigen Handschriftenfunden in jüngster Zeit gehört der sogenannte Codex Tchacos aus dem 4. Jh. Er enthält 4 Schriften, wovon 2 („Der Brief des Petrus an Philippus0 und „Die [erste Apokalypse] des Jakobus0) bereits aus dem Nag-Hammadi-Fund bekannt sind. Die beiden anderen Schriften bieten bisher unbekannte gnostische Texte („Das Judas-Evangelium0 und einen Text, der in der Forschung den Namen „Allogenes0 bekommen hat). Die Publikation präsentiert die koptischen Texte mit gegenüberstehender deutscher Übersetzung sowie ausführliche sprachliche Register und inhaltliche Beobachtungen. |
