Resumo:The article focuses on the rejection of Jesus Christ by His own people highlighted in Luke 4:21-30. Jesus started teaching in the synagogues in Galilee, Israel. The people cannot accept the conception of God who in the ministry of Jesus will become outcasts. Fundamentalist Christians in the U.S. consider the modern State of Israel as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
