| Summary: | La comparaison du quatrième évangile avec des commentaires rabbiniques sur Moïse et la manne (comme le midrash Exode Rabba, la Mekhilta de-Rabbi Ishmael et celle de-Rabbi Shimon ben Yohaï) montre un arrière-fond propre à faire ressortir une des pointes du texte johannique : Moïse lui-même rend témoignage à Jésus (Jn 5,46-47) et conduit à croire à l'œuvre de Dieu en celui que le Père a envoyé (Jn 6,29). The comparison of the fourth gospel with the rabbinical commentaries on Moses and the manna (as in the midrash Exodus Rabba, the Mekhilta de-Rabbi Ishmael and that de-Rabbi Shimon ben Yohaï) shows a background suitable for bringing out one of the points of the Johannine text: Moses himself gives testimony to Jesus (Jn 5,46-47) and leads to believing in the work of God in the one whom the Father has sent (Jn 6,29). |
