| Summary: | Our society is changing the manner in which it communicates. The Internet has catapulted us to a new way of life. Social media has changed the way we communicate. We are creating online communities to share our thoughts and lives. This research investigates effective ways of using social media, particularly Facebook. A sample of the 37 churches represented by the Australian Christian Churches movement in South Australia is utilized. The churches' Facebook posts are classified to determine their purposes, and Facebook metrics are measured to determine the effectiveness of these posts. |
