Description
Résumé:A literally criticism is presented for writings of Thomas Merton on which lead to monastic renewal in his book The Seven Storey Mountain. It outlines the religious life that helped many to overcome their trepidation at the prospect of seeking admission to the Trappist lifestyle; authorial persona made it possible for his many admirers to transpose their own very different biographies; and Merton's drawing power was not only the narrative of his life but his writing style.
