Summary:Based on interviews with teachers and adopting a socio-anthropological approach, this article examines the relations between teaching practices, didactic aspects, biographical references and the concept of religion. Care is taken to situate the results in relation to religious discourses and discourses on religion and to professional discourses and didactic theories. The authors show that teaching on religion, as related by the teachers, can also be described as an individual construction by these teachers, based on biographical references in various ways. This opens up a new research perspective for the didactics of religious studies.
