Summary: | Abstract der Zeitschrift: The new Code, which has been in force since 27 November 1983, is divided into seven books. In the fourth book, it treats especially the sanctifying task of the Church. Part I of this fourth book concerns the sacraments, Part 2 the other acts of divine Worship, and Part 3 sacred places and times. The present contribution is intended to provide a torugh study of the canon law regarding all the sacraments except that of marriage. The new legislation, which was worked out by the Pontifical Commission for the revision of the Canon Law, applies the principles that were presented and accepted by the Second Vatican Council.
