Description
Summary:The complexity and diversity of voices continues to increase in the Pentateuch to survey the whole succeeds only a few, because the variety of methods, perspectives and results has grown steadily over 200 years of historical-critical research, since neither diachronic, still synchronous consensus lines are available in a wider form of exploratory framework of a sound general hypothesis is lacking. One may argue whether the document model is already collapsed or is no longer accepted only by an increasing number as unquestioned starting point of the Pentateuch. For the traditional criteria of source analysis are available for few texts of the Pentateuch in question as well as the beginning and end of the "sources", their sociological literature place as well as the assumed linear combinatorial editorial technology. The emphasis on the bridge character in literarhistorischer ways can be considered as one of the characteristics of numerical and Pentateuch for research.
