The article closes with a view on how Psalm 143 is used in Roman-Catholic liturgy. Dieser Artikel lenkt den Blick vor allem auf die Dynamik des Psalms 143 und die unterschiedlichen Weisen, in der um die Beziehung zwischen Gott und dem Beter gekämpft wird: Das Ringen um ein gottesfürchtiges Leben und das Wissen, dass dieses nie völlig gelingen wird. Zentrale Themen sind das Gericht und das Ruhemoment im Psalm, der einen neuen emotionalen Zugang zum Fundament der Gottesbeziehung ermöglicht. Zum Abschluss wird die Einbindung des Psalms in die römisch-katholische Liturgie vorgestellt. |
