| Σύνοψη: | This article focuses mainly on the dynamic of Ps 143 and the different ways the relationship between the praying person and God is ventilated: the human struggle between trying to live a life of godliness and the acknowledge of never being able to do it in its entirety. Important topics are the awareness of God’s judgement and meditation of God’s actions which lead into calmness and therefore a different emotional setting. The article closes with a view on how Psalm 143 is used in Roman-Catholic liturgy. Dieser Artikel lenkt den Blick vor allem auf die Dynamik des Psalms 143 und die unterschiedlichen Weisen, in der um die Beziehung zwischen Gott und dem Beter gekämpft wird: Das Ringen um ein gottesfürchtiges Leben und das Wissen, dass dieses nie völlig gelingen wird. Zentrale Themen sind das Gericht und das Ruhemoment im Psalm, der einen neuen emotionalen Zugang zum Fundament der Gottesbeziehung ermöglicht. Zum Abschluss wird die Einbindung des Psalms in die römisch-katholische Liturgie vorgestellt. |
