Summary: | We can find, among the many writings we have about Paul, only a few synthetic ones such as a theology of Paul. One of the reasons is no doubt that it is difficult to find a unifying theme to letters written in very different contexts. This paper aims at showing the importance of the theme of filiation in Paul's writings. It may not be a "unifying" theme but several facts tend to prove it is the final cause of his writings. As a consequence, other themes, such as law, freedom or sin, need to be looked upon by the means of this theme of filiation. |
