| Resumo: | The present article proposes a re-reading of the way to interpret the events regarding the arguments that led to the american independencies. Profiting of the celebration of the Hispano-American bicentaries that about to begin, it seems necessary to evaluate which were the arguments that were present and the relationships between these arguments that took place from 1808 onwards. The Hispanic iusnarualism, the royalism, the absolutism, the illuminism, and the French revolution cannot be read as excluding realities among themselves, but, on the contrary, as places of confluence. In order to offer the source of the Hispanic thought we refer ourselves directly to the authors in their works, as well as to the specific issues that each one of them has developed and offered us. In a second moment, we try to increase the awareness about the fact that the theoretical proposal does not coincide exactly with the facts which, in a practical way, are not abundant as far as those years are concerned; this fact emphasizes the need to look for the concrete consequences that led to those facts, as well as some connection among them that may establish a communication between the theory and the concrete pracrices |
