Nach einer Analyse der drei Stellen, an denen die Wendung bei Kohelet vorkommt (1,13; 2,3; 3,1), wird die These aufgestellt, dass sie benutzt wird um die sog. Königsfiktion zu strukturieren. Koh 3,1 fungiert demnach weder nur als ihr Abschluss, noch hat sie nur als Überschrift zum Gedicht über die Zeit zu gelten; vielmehr ist seine Funktion als Scharniervers neu zu bestimmen ist. In this paper the phrase ~ymvh txt is examined throughout the book of Ecclesiastes. After analyzing the three occurances of the phrase in Eccl (1,13; 2,3; 3,1), the hypothesis is established that it is used to structure the so-called royal fiction. Eccl 3,1 thus functions not only as its ending, nor does it have to be considered only as the title for the Time-Poem; rather it needs to be redefined as a hinge-verse. |
