| Σύνοψη: | John Rawls’ theory of justice is commonly acknowledged as a theory of just distribution of goods within a given society. It is, however, debated whether and how it should be applied to questions of international justice. This paper discusses which strategy to extend Rawls’ theory to the international level is preferable for a Christian ethics of migration. For this purpose, we begin by establishing four evaluation criteria under which a theory of international justice should, from the point of view of Christian ethics, pass muster. We then discuss two strategies that have been suggested in order to extend Rawls’ theory of justice to the international level, and check whether they are compatible with our evaluation criteria. In a nutshell, these strategies of internationalisation differ in that they reach the international level behind the “veil of ignorance” either by directly questioning all humans affected, or by questioning in a second step the states involved. We argue that the “cosmopolitical” direct strategy is favourable from a Christian perspective. John Rawls’ Theorie der Gerechtigkeit ist weithin als Theorie gerechter Güterverteilung innerhalb vorgegebener Gesellschaften anerkannt. Es ist aber umstritten, ob und wie sie für Fragen der internationalen Gerechtigkeit angewandt werden soll. Dieser Aufsatz diskutiert, welche Strategie der Ausweitung von Rawls’ philosophischer Gerechtigkeitstheorie auf die internationale Ebene für eine christliche Migrationsethik herangezogen werden sollte. Dazu stellen wir zunächst vier Bewertungsmaßstäbe auf, denen eine Theorie der internationalen Gerechtigkeit aus der Perspektive einer christlichen Ethik gerecht werden sollte. Anschließend untersuchen wir zwei Strategien, die John Rawls’ Theorie der Gerechtigkeit in einen internationalen Kontext transferieren und überprüfen, ob diese vereinbar mit den von uns aufgestellten Prinzipien sind. Diese Internationalisierungsstrategien unterscheiden sich im Wesentlichen darin, dass sie die internationale Perspektive hinter dem „Schleier des Nichtwissens“ entweder in einem Schritt direkt von den betroffenen Menschen bewerten lässt, oder diese erst in einem zweiten Schritt durch die betroffenen Staaten vorgenommen wird. Wir argumentieren, dass sich aus christlicher Perspektive die einstufige „kosmopolitsche“ Variante als die bessere herausstellt. |
