Description
Summary:It is surprising how many of Karl Rahner’s writings are considering topics in the purview of Pastoral Theology. Most prominently this is evident in his editorship of the »Handbuch der Pastoraltheologie«. But there is a countless number of smaller or larger writings occasioned by concrete requests for conferences, interviews, or articles. This article tries to recall Rahner as a Pastoral Theologian who made some of his dogmatic foundations fruitful in pastoral contexts : Among them are his conviction of God’s wish for the salvation of all, and his conviction that God spoke his irrevocable » yes « to the world.
