| Summary: | This article describes the initial stages of an encyclopaedic work covering six thousand authors from the Order of St Augustine from 1244 up to the present day. These entries are to be published in fifteen volumes, the first three of which have already appeared. This task is being led by researcher Rafael Lazcano, a prolific author and an expert in the history of the Augustinians. El presente artículo da noticia del inicio de una obra enciclopédica que pretende registrar la memoria de unos seis mil autores de la Orden de San Agustín desde 1244 hasta nuestros días y de la Orden de Agustinos Recoletos desde 1588, con inclusión de las respectivas ramas femeninas. Estas semblanzas se publicarán a lo largo de unos quince volúmenes de los cuales tres ya han sido publicados. El autor de la empresa es el investigador Rafael Lazcano, prolífico autor y experto en la historia de los agustinos. |
