Description
Summary:Pope Francis reminds clergy of their duty to "accompany [the divorced and remarried] in helping them to understand their situation according to the teaching of the Church", referencing Relatio Finalis. More often than not, while there are scriptural and patristic references, primarily to St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine (though St. Thomas more so), the majority of the references are to Pope Francis's predecessors, St. John Paul II, and Pope Benedict XVI.
