| Summary: | O presente editorial visa refletir sobre o contexto e o propósito com os quais o dossiê da Teocomunicação “juventude e contemporaneidade” foi elaborado. O contexto é a reflexão eclesial sobre a juventude, promovida pelo Sínodo dos Bispos de 2018 e pela Exortação Christus vivit, e que recebeu novos desafios com a difícil realidade suscitada pela pandemia de Covid-19. O propósito é a busca de um diálogo fecundo entre as gerações, capaz de promover o desenvolvimento humano integral dos jovens. Como condições para o diálogo, aponta-se o ir ao encontro das novas gerações, reconhecendo em cada jovem a dimensão do mistério que ali se abriga. A perspectiva integral de compreensão da pessoa humana e, aqui, do jovem, apresenta-se então como conditio sine qua non para a realização desse propósito, o que também supõe a chamada para a participação eclesial e cidadã das juventudes. Por fim, ressalta-se os desafios do acompanhamento juvenil para o período que se seguirá à pandemia. This editorial aims to reflect on the context and purpose with which the Teocomunicação dossier “youth and contemporaneity” was prepared. The context is the ecclesial reflection on youth promoted by the Synod of Bishops 2018 and by the Exhortation Christus vivit, and which received new challenges with the difficult reality raised by the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose is the search for a fruitful dialogue between the generations, capable of promoting the integral human development of young people. As conditions for dialogue, the aim is to go out and meet the new generations, recognizing in each young person the dimension of the mystery that is sheltered there. The integral perspective of understanding the human person and, here, the young person, then presents itself as the conditio sine qua- non for the realization of this purpose, which also supposes the call for ecclesial and citizen participation of youth. Finally, the challenges of accompaniment of young people for the period following the pandemic are highlighted. |
