Description
Summary:In 2007, on the occasion of the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the birth of St: Elizabeth of Hungary, much has been said about her canonisation. Certain authors have considered some points of this case to be very particular or even irregular and even some of her contemporaries had doubts and criticisms about the procedure adopted. In order to correctly assess the canonisaion of St. Elizabeth, one must bear in mind the basic outlines of the canonisation process generally followed in that time, that is, at the end of the XII and the first few decades of the XIII century
