总结:In October 2012 at the behest of the Pope, Holy Father, Benedict XVI, the XIII General Assembly of the Synod of the Bihops will convene in Rome to discuss the theme The New Evangelization for the Transmission of the Christian Faith. On the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple, Februrary 2, 2011, Archbishop Nikola Eterovi?, the General Secretary of the Synod, presented to the Vatican the Lineamenta, which had been prepared with the assistence of the General Secreteriat of the Synod of Bishops. The Lineamenta was divided into three chapters, and at the end of each chapter were a series of questions to guide discussion and refection. Reactions and comments to the Lineamenta were to be sent to the General Secreteriat by the Solemnity of All Saints, November 1, 2011. The feedback was used to construct an Instrumentum laboris, a working document, that will serve to help orient the work of the Synod Assembly. In light of the up-coming Synod of Bishops, a Czech pastoral theologian has added his own contribution on evangelization, which examines the challenges of spreading the Christian Gospel in the Czech Republic. His article is divided into three chapters, which are intended to acquaint readers with the practical preaching of the Good News, which is addressed to every human being. Although the Czech Republic lies in the very centre of Europe - a continent steeped in centuries of Christian tradition - at presend many of ist citizens profess to be atheists. In the midst of this challenge, many people have sent to bring Christ and his message and to participate in the redemptive mission of the Messiah. Hopefully this article will prove to be a useful asset for all its readers enriching them with both a theoretical knowledge of matters related to evangelization and the practical wisdom that comes from the author's own extensive experience
