Summary:This article explores several principles underlying the developing practice of inclusive religions education in the Netherlands. The Institute for Theology and Social Integration (Utrecht, The Netherlands) has been instrumental in advocacy for inclusive programming within churches. Underlying philosophies include the notion of “taking a walk” and experiential aspects of religious participation and practice. Practical examples of pastoral practices are provided.
