520 |a Il y a chez le théoricien des décolonisations Frantz Fanon deux approches du « fait religieux » irréductibles l'une à l'autre : la première est une conception de la damnation du Noir/colonisé en tant que sentiment de néantisation appelant un surgissement depuis la « zone de non-être » ; la seconde est une conception des religions en tant qu'institutions sociales d'emblée incorporées, par instrumentalisation et comme religions dominante/dominée, au conflit (manichéisme) colonial... mais aussi post-colonial. Nous montrons que ces deux approches renvoient à deux stades de la pensée de Fanon séparées par une « conversion » de leur auteur à un monisme (matérialiste et vitaliste) intégral, mais néanmoins unies par un même projet : la décolonisation comme conquête d'être, montée en humanité.
