總結:In what ways have religious scholars theorized, or undertheorized, the "Black body" and the Black Church's response to embodiment and sexuality? How is the "Black body" configured as a site of trauma and what is the utility of theorizing the "Black body" as a figure of embodied trauma? Lastly, what implications do the latter have on the ways we theologize embodiment in the Black Church? This article seeks to address these questions through a reading that broadens the view of the Black body, seemingly maintained by some religious scholars, that insists upon the Black body as figuring a site of pleasure only.
