Description
Summary:This paper outlines possible connections between James Fowler's theory of faith development and spirituality. In this context spirituality is described as having two components: cognitive inclusiveness that points towards the transcendent and personal qualities. Since Fowler connects his theory with values, it is possible to show how values and spirituality may be related. The paper concludes by considering how church schools might foster spirituality.
