The volume under review is a ‘completely revised and expanded edition’ of the earlier title, published in a different format and with a different publisher. The new version is more business-like, of textbook size and shape rather than the ‘coffee table’ format of the original, and contains only a handful of the photographs with which the original is so lavishly illustrated, although it is still well stocked with maps and charts at appropriate points. |
