Description
Summary:Pierre Grelot, who died aged 92 in 2009, was one of the great interpreters of the Bible during the last half-century, a period of the highest significance in the spread of biblical reading and reflection, especially in the Roman Catholic Church. He here reverts to a topic he first tackled in his book Sens chrétien de l’Ancien Testament in 1962, but with the extension of a further half-century of continuous study and full application of the ideas to the New Testament. With the experience of a master of his craft, there are few of the topics for which he cannot add reference to his own books and essays.
