Описание
Итог:For over three decades, Michael Perry has helped shape our public discourse on the most contentious and contested moral issues of the day. In a voluminous body of work spanning some sixty papers and roughly one dozen books, Perry has navigated the landscape of constitutional politics with a sophisticated appreciation of the high stakes of religion, ideology, and personhood that stand at the core of the questions which most deeply divide Americans., The same holds true for Perry's latest book, Constitutional Rights, Moral Controversy, and the Supreme Court, in which he advances a theory of Supreme Court judicial review for adjudicating matters of intense moral disagreement, namely capital punishment, same-sex unions, and abortions.
