Description
Summary:“By finding meaning through emotions and practical action…young people today are emphasizing the dimension of love. For them, salvation is attained by the creation of a loving situation. The attainment of community, with its concomitant release of power, self-discovery, and decision to love, is salvation. It is a contemporary way of trying to find God. John's First Epistle stresses that ‘God is love’ (I Jn. 4: 8), and today young adults are trying to turn the equation around to read ‘Love is God.’”
