總結: | “Anyone who works with the literature of the infallibility debate quickly detects that underlying much of the controversy are some radically different assumptions about theological method…. It is abundantly clear from Küng's earlier works that he takes biblical categories as normative, accepts and draws upon insights of critical biblical scholarship (both Protestant and Catholic), and deals with Roman Catholic thought primarily through historical analysis. While this means that Küng is probably the most intelligible and persuasive Roman Catholic theologian for a Protestant to read, it also goes against the grain of the scholasticism and transcendentalism that have prevailed in many centers of Roman Catholic thought.” |
