| Summary: | Palestinian Christians came together in 2009 to write a common statement exposing their theological perspective and formulating their hope for the future. The result of their work was published as a Kairos document, modeled after the 1985 South African Kairos. Such documents belong to a specific genre of Christian writings that seek to formulate a response to situations of oppression. Due to the delicate nature of the conflict in Israel-Palestine, the Palestinian Kairos received mixed reviews.
