| Σύνοψη: | This paper analyzes the modeling process performed in the apparition of Our Lady in the city of Jacareí, São Paulo State. The links between this phenomenon and a pattern of apparitions formed during the late 19th century in Europe were observed though this process. The symbolic elements were also central and fundamental to give legitimacy for Virgin Mary’s appations in Jacareí. |
