| Summary: | The Heideggerian notion of Bedeutsamkeit (« significance ») is used here as a key element of description of various care situations. Most urgent ethical questions today concern the context of care more than the care itself. While scientific literature highlights many difficulties and moral distress in care professionals, the problem is often formulated as a « meaning failure ». Reinvestment in significance should represent new paths and methods of working, even in high technological conditions. V. Frankl’s existential analysis, its diagnosis of contemporary « existential emptiness » and his ten theses about the person seem to be able to help supervision and formation of professional care teams. La nozione heideggeriana di Bedeutsamkeit (« significatività ») è qui impiegata come elemento chiave di descrizione di varie situazioni di cura. Le più urgenti questioni etiche interessano oggi più il contesto della cura che la cura in sé. Se la letteratura scientifica sottolinea le molte difficoltà e lo stress morale dei professionisti del settore, a costituire spesso un problema è invece ciò che viene definito come « fallimento del significato ». Un’azione che si prefigga di porvi rimedio dovrebbe concentrarsi su nuovi percorsi e metodi di lavoro, anche in condizioni altamente tecnologiche. L’analisi esistenziale di V. Frankl, la sua diagnosi di una « vacuità esistenziale » contemporanea e le sue dieci tesi sulla persona sembrano essere in grado di aiutare la supervisione e formazione delle squadre di professionisti della cura. |
