| Summary: | La teología argentina del pueblo ha influido en las raíces teológicas del Papa Francisco. El artículo estudia su surgimiento después del Concilio, el papel fundador en ella de Lucio Gera y Rafael Tello, su comprensión histórico-cultural del pueblo, el lugar en éste de los pobres y su piedad popular, su relación con otras corrientes de la teología latinoamericana de liberación, sus distintas generaciones y su momento actual. Pope Francis' theological roots have been nourished by the Argentinian «Theology of the People». The article looks at the emergence of this Theology after the Council, the founding roles of Lucio Gera and Rafael Tello, and its historical and cultural understanding of the people. Furthermore, we explore how this Theology understands the place of the poor and of popular piety within its notion of «the people». The article also explains the relationship between Argentinian «Theology of the People» and other currents of Latin American liberation theology, their evolution over a number of generations and their present situation. |
