La «consacrazione» religiosae i voti che la esprimono sono stati spesso oggetto di studi basati su approcci troppoparticolaristici, che credono di rintracciare (o di negare) il fondamento scritturisticobasandosi sull’analisi di testi precisi, considerati in modo piuttosto isolato rispetto alcontesto generale della rivelazione biblica dato dalla sua inscindibile unità di AT e NT. Con questo contributo non si intende riproporre uno studio biblico sul tema né un excursusstorico delle principali interpretazioni, ma presentare una rilettura personale inmerito e alcune brevi «tesi» di natura biblico-teologica che possano aiutare a ripensarela questione alla luce di un più ampio e articolato quadro interpretativo. L'intenzionedi fondo è pertanto quella di focalizzare alcune «aperture» o una serie di possibilitracce per stimolare o proseguire un dibattito sul tema. The self-understanding of religious life as «Consecrated Life» is a question thatstill gives rise to a number of concerns and calls for further in-depth study. Religious«consecration» and the vows that express this have often been subject to studies thatbase themselves on overly particularistic approaches and presume to track down (orreject) the scriptural foundation based on an analysis of precise texts considered, however,in a rather isolated manner with respect to the general context of biblical revelationgiven by its indivisible unity of the OT and NT. This contribution does not intendto propose yet another biblical study on the theme, nor present a historical excursusof the principal existing interpretations, but rather to provide a personal interpretationon the subject along with some brief «theses» of a biblical-theological nature that can help reconsider the question in the light of a broader, more articulated interpretiveframework. The intent is thus to offer some «openings», or a series of possible pathsfor reflection, in order to stimulate or continue debate on the topic. |
