Итог:A simile is a comparison of two unlike things, typically marked by use of “like”, “as” or “than.” Examples include “the snow was as thick as a blanket”, or “he is as brave as a lion.” Similes are widely used in the Arabic literature. The aim of simile is giving support to the meaning. This study clarifies the development of simile in the classical Arabic language and it explains the thoughts of the Arabic scholars from the historical and conceptual sides
