Following Randolph Braham's introductory essay outlining the implementation of anti-Jewish measures at the national level in Hungary, the book's focus shifts to the county and local levels. The implementation of the Holocaust in each of the wartime counties is mapped out in an opening essay, followed by individual entries for villages, towns, and cities where Jews lived.
