Summary: | This article analyzes, from a devotional, cultural and cultic point of view, the presence and representation of the Virgin Mary within the aesthetic production of the Silver Age. Particular attention is paid to that symbolism that the Virgin Mary and her cult reached at a time of an intense debate between tradition and modernity, enhanced by the intellectual and artistic brilliance of this period. El presente artículo analiza la presencia y la representación que la Virgen María, desde el punto de vista devocional, cultural y cultual tuvo en la producción estética de la Edad de Plata. Se incide especialmente en el discurso simbólico que María y lo mariano alcanzó en un momento de intenso debate entre tradición y modernidad, amparado por la brillantez intelectual y artística de este periodo. |
