| Итог: | The preaching of Juan de Ávila was distinguished by a clear defence of the integration of Christians of Judeo-converso origin, as he himself was. We can appreciate the importance of this issue and the dimensions of this conflict if we remember the inheritance of the fifteenth century: speeches against this minority and major writings in its defence. The pro-converso writers defended the equality of all Christians from various theological arguments. Indeed, already in the sixteenth century, Juan de Avila preached this equality from the idea of the «spiritual lineage of Jesus Christ». La pastoral y la predicación de Juan de Ávila se distinguió por una clara defensa de la integración de los cristianos de origen judeoconverso, como él mismo lo era. Podemos apreciar la importancia de esta cuestión y las dimensiones de este conflicto si recordamos la herencia del siglo XV: los discursos contra esta minoría y los principales escritos en su defensa. Los tratadistas pro-conversos afirmaron la igualdad de todos los cristianos desde diversos argumentos teológicos. Ya en el siglo XVI, Juan de Ávila predica esta igualdad desde la idea del «linaje espiritual de Jesucristo». |
