| Summary: | This article briefly describes the history of Christianity’s openness to other religions and its appreciation of dialogue and collaboration with other believers in the 20th century in order to understand better Jorge Bergolio’s concept of culture of encounter, developed firstly as bishop of Buenos Aires and later as Pope in his ecumenical and interreligious meetings. This category supposes a deepening in the models of interreligious dialogue aimed at achieving world peace. Este artículo brevemente describe la historia de apertura del cristianismo a las otras religiones, su valoración del diálogo y la colaboración con los otros creyentes en el siglo XX para comprender mejor el concepto de cultura del encuentro de Jorge Bergolio como obispo de Buenos Aires y posteriormente como Papa en sus encuentros ecuménicos e interreligiosos. Dicha categoría supone una profundización en los modelos de diálogo interreligioso para lograr un mundo en paz. |
