Description
Summary:An ecumenical circle of Roman-Catholic and Lutheran Theologians arrived at a partial consensus concerning the requirements for ordination to the office, the executive form of ordination, and the essential elements of the office. Thereupon, another group proofed the currently applied regulations for Ordination and the consecration of priests to see if they were in agreement with the above mentioned consensus: despite the differences in confessional practices and particular critical questions, the members of the circle have determined that the regulations are sufficient for a mutual acknowledgement of the Ordination.
