| Summary: | For some years, material culture studies have enlarged our knowledge of everyday activities connected to the home. These practices include those ones related to the world of religion and popular beliefs. Based in notarial documentation, this paper aims to know more about the domestic devotional practices that old Christians and Moriscos developed in the city of Ciudad Real during the beginning of the Counter-Reformation times. Objects, materials, appraisals and symbols are analysed. In the second part of the article, attention is paid to the use of these objects by the Moriscos of Granada who lived in the city between 1570 and 1610. En las últimas décadas, los estudios sobre cultura material doméstica han ensanchado el conocimiento que se tiene de las actividades cotidianas ligadas al hogar. Entre esas prácticas, se encuentran las relacionadas con el mundo de la religión y las creen-cias populares. A partir del uso de documentación notarial, este este trabajo persigue conocer algo más acerca de las prácticas devocionales domésticas que desplegaron cristianos viejos y moriscos en la ciudad de Ciudad Real durante los primeros años de la Contrarreforma. Se analizan objetos, materiales, tasaciones y simbología. En la segunda parte del artículo se presta atención al uso de esos objetos por parte de los moriscos granadinos que vivieron en la ciudad entre 1570 y 1610. |
