Description
Summary:In their new work, Les Actes des deux Apôtres, M.-É. Boismard and A. Lamouille explain the literary development of the Acts of the Apostles. They identify three successive redactions, the second of which is attributed to St Luke, who was the author of the Book of Acts as we have it. They also recover three source documents which were used, along with other material, in the composition of Acts. This article presents their theory and discusses its value.
