| Summary: | Four ideologically neutral narrative components – infinitives absolute, markers of time, יש ('there is/are'), and הנה ('look/behold') – are reviewed across Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles. The non-use of יש and minimal use of the others in the shared portions of those books identifies these synoptic materials as unusual within Chronicles and very distinctive among the components of Samuel and Kings. Quite independent of theories about how 'Deuteronomistic' or 'Chronistic' authors may have worked, these data converge with the thesis that the synoptic portions were also the principal shared source of Samuel-Kings and Chronicles. In combination, they assist the identification of strata within the several books.\n4207 Quatre éléments narratifs idéologiquement neutres – les infinitifs absolus; les marqueurs temporels; יש («il y a/il se trouve»); et הנה («regardez/voyez») – sont inspectés dans Samuel, Rois et Chroniques. L’absence de יש et un usage minimal des trois autres dans les parties communes à ces livres signalent ce matériau synoptique comme rare en Chroniques, et très remarquable dans les parties en question de Samuel et Rois. Assez indépendantes des théories sur la manière dont des auteurs «deutéronomistiques» ou «chronistiques» auraient travaillé, ces données convergent vers l’hypothèse que les parties synoptiques étaient aussi la principale source commune à Samuel-Rois et Chroniques.
