Bernhard also hints that the book is a response to Stanley E. Porter's call "for a new critical edition of 'Greek apocryphal gospel papyri' at the 21st International Congress of Papyrology in 1995" (2). All those papyri mentioned by Porter are included in Bernhard's edition. |
