Описание
Итог:Mark 13 is normally interpreted in view of its origin and literary history while little, if any, attention is paid to the literary aspects of the chapter. In this essay Mark 13:5-37 is approached from a literary perspective. The implications of the fact that the material is presented in the form of a narrated speech of Jesus are developed in the first part. The second part deals with the place of the speech in the Gospel of Mark in terms of narrative time. The last major section is concerned with the narrative point of view and the function of apocalyptic and paraenesis in Mark 13. A few summary remarks conclude the essay.
