| Summary: | The article aims to propose a review of some of the titles with which the Church refers to the pope, such as Bishop of Rome, Supreme Pontiff and Vicar of Christ, to investigate whether, in fact, they still say something about the modus operandi et vivendi of the Petrine ministry today. The analysis proves to be important because, for the reform of the papacy called for, even by the popes themselves (UUS 95; EG 32), this review can be a first step to be taken, since, starting from the perspective that the Papacy is a construction, it was not always as it is today and therefore in the future it may be different., El artículo pretende proponer una revisión de algunos de los títulos con los que la Iglesia se refiere al Papa, como obispo de Roma, sumo pontífice y vicario de Cristo, para investigar si, efectivamente, todavía dicen algo sobre el modus operandi et vivendi. del ministerio petrino hoy. El análisis resulta importante porque, para la reforma del papado reclamada, incluso por los mismos papas (UUS 95; EG 32), esta revisión puede ser un primer paso a dar, ya que, partiendo de la perspectiva de que el Papado es una construcción, no siempre fue como es hoy y por lo tanto en el futuro puede ser diferente., O artigo tem a finalidade de propor uma revisão em alguns dos títulos com os quais a Igreja se refere ao papa, tais como bispo de Roma, sumo pontífice e vigário de Cristo, para investigar se, efetivamente, ainda dizem algo acerca do modus operandi et vivendi do ministério petrino hoje. A análise mostra-se importante porque, para a reforma do papado pedida, inclusive pelos próprios papas (UUS 95; EG 32), esta revisão pode ser um primeiro passo a se dar, visto que, partindo-se da perspectiva de que o papado é uma construção, nem sempre foi como é hoje e, portanto, no futuro pode ser diferente. |
