| Summary: | In order to outline its theoretical proposal, this work intends to analyze the links of distributism with Christian thought, and more specifically, with the social and political doctrine of Catholicism. This entails pointing out, within a common theoretical framework, some distinctive elements of the former regarding the contemporary social doctrine of the Church as it appears in its founding texts, as well as its radical and uncompromising criticism of modernity and any socioeconomic model of a capitalist or socialist nature. Finally, the political scope of the economic postulates of distributism and the validity of certain postulates for some current alternative movements are pointed out. A fin de perfilar su propuesta teórica, este trabajo pretende analizar los vínculos del distributismo con el pensamiento cristiano, y más en concreto, con la doctrina social y política del catolicismo. Esto conlleva el señalamiento, dentro de un marco teórico común, de algunos elementos distintivos de aquel respecto de la contemporánea doctrina social de la Iglesia tal y como esta aparece en sus textos fundacionales, así como también de su crítica radical y no contemporizadora con la modernidad, ni con cualesquiera modelos socio-económicos de índole capitalista o socialista. Por último, se señala el alcance político de los postulados económicos del distributismo y la vigencia de algunos de sus principios para algunos movimientos alternativos actuales. |
